FAQs – Pet Dryer Box

1.No response when powered on, power indicator light does not turn on

Fault causes:

The power plug is not securely plugged in, or the socket has no power;

The power cord is damaged or broken;

Malfunction of the power switch or damage to the mainboard.

Solutions:

Replug the power plug and test if the socket is powered (verify by plugging in another appliance);

Check the appearance of the power cord; if damaged, stop using it immediately and contact after-sales for replacement with an original power cord;

If the above operations are ineffective, it is highly likely that there is a fault with the power switch or mainboard; contact after-sales for return-to-factory inspection and repair.

2.Timer function fails, unable to shut down automatically

Fault causes:

Malfunction of the timer button on the control panel;

Poor contact of the timer module circuit;

Failure to restore timer memory after power outage (for models without power-off memory function);

Operation error (failure to confirm timer settings).

Solutions:

Reoperate the timer function: After setting the time, press the “Confirm” key and observe whether the display screen shows the timer duration;

For models without power-off memory function, the timer needs to be reset after power outage, which is normal;

If the button has no response or the setting becomes invalid immediately, it indicates a fault in the control panel or timer module; contact after-sales for replacement;

Temporary solution: When there is no timer function, manually time and turn off the power to avoid over-drying.

3.Weak wind force inside the unit, significantly prolonged drying time

Fault causes:

Filter clogging (accumulation of hair and dust);

Incorrect wind speed setting (accidentally set to low gear);

Decreased fan power or motor malfunction;

Air intake and outlet are blocked.

Solutions:

Remove the filter, rinse off hair and dust with clean water, dry it, and reinstall (it is recommended to clean once a week);

Confirm the wind speed is set to medium-high gear, and check if the outlet is blocked by foreign objects;

If the wind force remains weak after cleaning, it may be due to aging of the fan motor; contact after-sales to test the fan power;

Avoid stacking debris around the unit to ensure smooth ventilation of the air intake.

4.UV sterilization function fails (for some models)

Fault causes:

UV lamp tube is burnt out or has reached the end of its service life (the lamp tube lifespan is typically 5,000-8,000 hours);

Sterilization function was not correctly activated (requires pressing the sterilization button separately);

Poor contact of the lamp tube or circuit fault;

Door not closed (for some models, the sterilization function automatically turns off when the door is open to protect humans).

Solutions:

Confirm the door is closed, press the “Sterilize” button separately, and observe if the lamp tube emits light (do not look directly at the UV lamp);

If the lamp tube does not emit light and the usage time exceeds 5,000 hours, it is highly likely the lamp tube has aged; contact after-sales to replace it with a lamp tube of the same specification;

If the lamp tube does not work before reaching its service life, it indicates poor contact or a circuit fault; do not disassemble it yourself—contact professional maintenance;

The UV sterilization function is only for disinfecting the empty unit and should not be activated during pet drying.

5.The machine suddenly stops during operation and can work briefly after restarting

Fault causes:

The machine’s overheating protection is activated (blocked air intake, excessively high ambient temperature);

Poor contact of the power cord leads to unstable power supply;

Motor malfunction with excessive load during operation;

Mainboard overheating triggers automatic power-off protection.

Solutions:

Turn off the power, let the machine cool for 30 minutes, clear blockages from the air intake and outlet, and use it in a ventilated, cool place; Check if the power cord plug is securely inserted and test power stability by changing the socket;

If frequent shutdowns persist after restarting, it indicates a motor or mainboard fault; contact after-sales for inspection to avoid motor burnout;

Avoid using the machine in high-temperature environments (e.g., direct sunlight, near heating sources).

6.Severe water accumulation in the drip tray and abnormally high humidity inside the unit

Fault causes:

Drain hole is clogged, preventing condensate water from draining;

Excessively high moisture content in pet fur generates a large amount of condensate water during drying;

Outlet temperature is too low, preventing moisture vapor from being quickly expelled;

Overly good sealing of the machine causes moisture accumulation.

Solutions:

Open the drain hole at the bottom of the machine, clear clogged hair and debris, and ensure condensate water drains normally;

Before drying, wipe the surface moisture of pet fur with an absorbent towel to reduce condensate water generation;

Appropriately increase the drying temperature (38-40°C), turn on medium-high wind speed, and accelerate moisture evaporation.

7.What should be noted for the cleaning and maintenance of the drying box?

Reason: Regular cleaning not only extends the service life but also ensures hygiene for pet use.

Solutions:

After each use: Wipe the inner wall and tray of the box with a damp cloth to remove hair and stains, then open the door for ventilation and drying.

Weekly maintenance: Remove the filter, rinse hair and dust with clean water, dry it, and reinstall (a clogged filter will affect wind speed and heat dissipation). Monthly deep cleaning: Wipe the interior of the box with a pet-specific disinfectant, avoiding harsh cleaners such as 84 disinfectant and alcohol. Long-term storage: Ensure the box is completely dry, turn off the power, cover it with a dust cover, and place it in a dry, ventilated area.
